Position Title: Controller
Description:
Directs the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies. Oversees accounting departments (including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable), budget preparation, and audit functions. Meets regularly with department heads to keep informed and to offer direction. Reviews reports to analyze projections of sales and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals, and suggests methods of improving the planning process as appropriate. Qualifications:

Five years experience in financial management with increasing responsibilities for muli-faceted direction and planning. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Qualifications: Associates Degree in a related field and Five (5) years of purchasing/material management experience in a Mid-level manufacturer or; an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong knowledge and experience with a mid-level ERP system in a manufacturing environment is a strong plus.

Description:
Job requires self-motivated individual willing to learn in a fast growing local company. Person applying must have work experience in OSHA standards and matters pertaining to Georgia EPD laws and regulations. This person will aid in the safety, health and welfare of 180+ employees, in a manufacturing facility. Must be able to give Safety Meetings and educate employees on a daily basis pertaining to Company rules and policies, OSHA laws and regulation, environmental issues, hazardous material handling, MSDS sheets, etc. Must have knowledge of CPR, standard first aid, and fire prevention. Applicants must have computer skills with some Excel experience. Will work closely with management. Must have good communication skills. Must have valid driver's license.
