Outer Banks Kiting is a "kiteboarding" company that utilizes the Carolina Skiff to get into safe, shallow waters for our students to learn the sport in Cape Hatteras, NC. Our 21' DLX allows us to inflate kites on the front deck and launch safely off the boat. We have added a jackplate which allows us to get us into 6" of water with no problem. We are usually out in 15-25mph winds and the skiff has no trouble what so ever...
