DRUG FREE WORKPLACE

Purpose: Consistent with law, Carolina Skiff will maintain a workplace free form the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession or use of controlled substances, illicit drugs and alcohol are prohibited on any property under the control of Carolina Skiff, and at any site where work is performed by individuals on behalf of Carolina Skiff.

Pursuant to applicable procedures governing employee discipline, and employee involved in the unlawful use, sale, manufacturing, dispensing, or possession of controlled substances, illicit drugs and alcohol on Carolina skiff premises or work sites, or working under the influence of such substances, will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal and referral for prosecution.

All job applications will be required to pay for pre-employment testing. Carolina Skiff will only accept testing that is done at Waycross Judicial Drug Court. After the employee has be employed for at least 90 days, the Carolina Skiff probationary period, then the employee will be reimbursed in full for the testing. All employees are subject to random testing or testing for reasonable suspicion of drug use. If the employee refuses to submit to a drug test, the employee's employment will be terminated.

Employee must pass Drug Test in order to be eligible for hire.

A job applicant who receives a positive confirmed test result may contest or explain the results to Waycross Judicial Drug court within five working days after written notification of the positive test result.

An employee must notify Carolina Skiff of any criminal drug statue conviction for a violation occurring in the workplace no later than five Calendar days after such conviction. Failure to provide such notice will subject the employee to discipline up to and including dismissal pursuant to applicable procedures employee discipline.

*Fire schedules of controlled substances are defined in the comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Act of 1970, 21 U.S.C & 812
